Activities
Our Club is primarily focused on providing vision care to those in need, including eye exams and eyeglasses. We work with Isle of Wight Social Services to identify the folks that need our help.We also make up and distribute Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets to families in Smithfield and the surrounding area, and are building up a relationship with Riverside Convalescent Center to assist the residents there. We worked with the Windsor Lions Club to bring Project Lifesaver to Isle of Wight County, and continue to support that effort with updated equipment and battery service. Members of our club are active in many other organiztions as well, serving the Isle of Wight Christian Outreach Project Food Bank, the 4-H club, Oasis Kichen in Portsmouth Big Brothers and Sisters, and other service Clubs. .
