ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS

Participates in the annual district "Youth Exchange Program" with a picnic each year.

Supports the statewide R.A.M. project in Wise County each year.

Supports the district eyeglass recycling program.

Sells Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Bar-Be-Que during Occasion for the Arts in Colonial Williamsburg each year with all proceeds going to the Arts Program.

Fall project:
Golf Tournament - The Willamsburg Club and the James City Club work together on this golf tournament with the Lions Eye Bank as the primary beneficiary from the funds raised. The 2004 tournament was held at Ford's Colony Country Club.  Information about next year's tournament can be found in the Williamburg web page. Winter project: 
Brunswick Stew Sales - The club prepares and cooks approximately 675 quarts of the best home-made brunswick stew made.  Stew master, Lion Bill Mershon, uses special ingrediance to assure the best taste possible. Stew quarts are pre-sold at $7.00 per quarts.

Spring Project:

During late April or early May, the club spports the Blind Made Product Sale with an door to door Broom Sale and through year around sales at a local optician.

The club sells hamburgers, hotdogs Bar-Be-Que during an annual car show held in Williamsburg.
